"fishy fishyyy"...Salmon

Honey Sesame Salmon

What you need:
Lg cookie sheet (with edges, no flat ones)
Aluminum foil
Fork
Flat spatula

Ingredients:
2 lbs fresh wild caught salmon
1/3 cup honey (pick one that's really honey)
2tsp soy sauce
1tsp garlic powder
1tsp minced onion
1tsp red pepper flakes
3/4tsp ground ginger
2tsp sesame seeds

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil. This makes for easier cleanup and less sticking to the pan. Cut salmon to 4-6 fillets. Place on aluminum lined sheet.

Mix all ingredients together (except salmon) in a bowl.

Use fork to poke holes in salmon fillets (this will help hold in the juices). Coat the fillets with all of the ingredients mixed.

Bake for 20 minutes. Be sure salmon is cooked. You don't want to consume raw seafood. Salmon should flake smoothly.

Serve with your fav sides. Here we have fresh pan seared squash (recipe to follow in another blog) and garlic and herb pasta.

ENJOY!
